Bunless Burger Bites
Turn meatballs into a funky, fresh take on the classic American cheeseburger! These Bunless Burger Bites are perfect for tailgating or as a quick and easy appetizer!
Hey, y'all! Thank goodness it is a long weekend! I bet you're as dog-tired as I am, aren't you? We've officially rounded the corner where the holidays are rapidly approaching. I mean, can you believe Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away? Christmas will be here before we know it!
During this time of the year, I'm always scrambling around trying to find quick and easy appetizer recipes for holiday parties, and in our case, tailgating. I started playing around with different meatballs recipes and came up with this fun, fresh take on the American classic- a cheeseburger!
The recipe couldn't be any easier. I simply prepared the meatballs according to the package instructions. Next, I pulled the meatballs out of the coven and poked each one with a toothpick. I stacked a piece of cheddar cheese and a slice of cooked bacon on each toothpick and popped the meatballs into the oven until the cheese melted.
I set up little plates with various burger toppings such as lettuce, spinach, pickles, onions, and tomatoes so each person could customize the burger how they wanted it. I also had ketchup and mustard on hand to drizzle over the little bite size bunless burgers.
These little guys were such a hit I've already served them up twice this month! They couldn't be any easier to make and they are super fun!
