Each Saturday I share a brand new appetizer recipe with you that is perfect for Game Day. In our circle of friends, Buffalo Chicken Dip is pretty much a staple at parties. I think someone has brought this dip to pretty much every party I've ever been to. I have to admit, I have had some pretty tasty rendition of this modern day classic but I've also had some really crappy ones. This recipe, however, is hands-down the best version of Buffalo Chicken Dip I've ever had.
It begins with shredded chicken (and I'm not talking about the kind you buy in a can). Pile on some cream cheese and cheddar cheese. Add a bit of buffalo sauce and garlic powder and the secret ingredient and you've got yourself a winner!

What's this secret ingredient, you may ask? Dry ranch dressing mix! So many people make their Buffalo Chicken Dip with bleu cheese (since that is what it is typically paired with) and as much as I love me some stinky cheese, the powdered ranch mix truly makes this dip taste better.
Whether you choose to use shredded chicken you prepare yourself or shredded rotisserie chicken, the final outcome will be fantastic! This dip is guaranteed to be a hit with your crew!
Instant Pot (optional)
2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
8 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
1 1oz package of dry ranch dressing mix
2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place all the ingredients into a casserole dish. Stir to combine. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese has completely melted.
3. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, celery or peppers.
